Alvis Personal App for Workouts, Body Stats and Fitness Goals
About this app
Fitness Goals is your training log on your phone. Log a run, ride, gym session or game in a few taps. See this week against last, how close you are to your goals, your records, and how your body is changing.
For anyone in the Philippines getting fitter, from laps at the UP Oval to a first half marathon. It works like a phone app: home screen, tab bar, camera, location, scanner.
At a glance
- Latest workout with its photo and pace
- Quick actions: log a workout, weigh in, goals, records
- This week: distance, time and workouts, compared with last week
- Goals with progress, distance per month, recent workouts to swipe, races coming up
1. Log a workout in seconds
Pick the sport (run, walk, ride, swim, gym or a game like badminton), enter your time to the second as your watch shows it (24:37) and the distance; the app works out the rest.
- Pace for runs and walks (24:37 for 5 km is 4:55 /km), per 100 m for swims, speed for rides (km/h)
- Climb, calories, heart rate, how it felt
- Gym sessions: sets × reps × kg, and the total lifted
- Your start location and a photo, straight from the phone
2. Progress
Tap a sport and a period (This week, month, year) for your distance, time, workouts, calories, climb and easy workouts, with charts by week and sport.
3. Personal records
Your own leaderboards per sport and period: longest, fastest runs, biggest climbs, most calories.
4. Goals you log toward
Set a goal between two dates, for one sport or any, in km, workouts, active minutes or calories: "Run 140 km", "8 gym sessions".
- Counted by itself: a workout goes to your open goal for its sport (or any) in its dates
- Never silently short: a second open goal for the same sport (or any) on the same days is refused
- Done, still to go, a progress bar and a status: in progress, almost there, completed, or missed
- The day you reach it is marked, with a "well done" (by a workout or a race)
- The day after it ends, an open goal closes by itself
- A Goal Report of every workout that counted
5. Body and progress photos
Set your height once in My profile, then weigh in with just your weight; add body fat, waist, resting heart rate and a selfie progress photo when you can.
- BMI with its WHO adult range, from your profile's height
- Where you are now: weight (against a month ago), kg lost, BMI, body fat, waist, resting heart rate
- Weight and body fat by month, and your weigh-ins
- Progress photos to swipe through
6. Races
Add your runs, rides and swim meets; scan your bib's QR or barcode.
- A reminder three days before race day
- Mark it finished with your chip time (h:mm:ss) from race day on: see your race pace and whether you beat your target
- The race joins your workouts and counts toward your goal; fix the time later and the workout follows
- A Race Result page to print or share
Private: your records are yours alone
Each person sees only their own workouts, goals, body and races, and gets only their own notifications; even your workspace's owners see only their own. To let a Coach follow along, add their email to a goal or a race: they see that goal, the workouts that count toward it (not your notes or where you started), and that race (not the fee). They can't change anything, and never see your body or progress photos.
More built in
Six reports, a calendar, a rest reminder after an all-out workout.
What it doesn't do
No Strava, Garmin, Apple Health or Google Fit link: copy the time and distance from your watch. No GPS route, no medical advice. A workout counts toward one goal, so no year goal and month goal for one sport side by side. Changing a goal's sport or dates later keeps the workouts already counted. Race reminders and goals closing by themselves need a plan with timed automations.
Getting started
- Set your height in My profile, weigh in, take a first progress photo.
- Set a goal or two for this month; add your races.
- Log each workout: it counts toward your goal by itself.
