Alvis Personal App for Building Daily Habits and Streaks

About this app

Habit Tracker helps you build the habits you keep promising yourself. Tap the circle next to a habit on your home screen and it's checked in for today. The app keeps your streak, your best and how often you really do it.

It's for anyone in the Philippines who wants a steadier routine: eight glasses of water, a morning prayer, 20 pages before bed, ₱50 a day in the alkansya, Zumba three times a week. It works like a phone app, with a home screen, a tab bar, and your camera and location.

Works on any plan. Streaks, ticks, weekly targets and completion rates follow your check-ins and today's date. Only the reminders are timed automations, which need Alvis Pro.

At a glance

  • Your longest streak going, front and centre
  • Today: done, still to do, and check-ins in the last 7 days
  • Search habits, check-ins and notes
  • Today's habits to tick off with one tap, still to do first
  • Quick actions: check in, new habit, log your mood, stats
  • The last 13 weeks as a heatmap, your recent great days, and your longest streaks

1. Habits your way

A habit for every day, or for a number of times a week (the gym 3×, meal prep once).

  • How much each time: 8 glasses, 20 pages, 50 pesos
  • A reminder in the morning, at noon or in the evening, while the habit is still to do (weekly habits: daily until the week is on target)
  • Why it matters to you, and a picture
  • Pause or archive a habit without losing its history. Paused days don't count against your completion rate

2. Check in, and the streak follows

One tap on the circle, or Done today on a habit, checks it in with its usual amount (8 glasses, 20 pages). Or use Check in for how much, how it went, a note, a camera photo or where you were.

  • The streak grows when you did it yesterday too, and starts again after a missed day. Your best is kept
  • Forgot yesterday? Log it the next morning, before today's tick, and your streak is still there. A morning nudge reminds you
  • A mistake? Delete your latest check-in and the habit goes back: streak, best, tick, week
  • Milestones (7, 30, 100 days …) and beating your best get a notification

3. Weekly targets

A week is on target at 7 of 7, or 3 of 3 for a weekly habit. Each one grows your week streak; a short week starts it again. A Sunday session logged on Monday still counts for its own week.

4. Stats and the calendar

On Stats, tap a category and a period (this week, this month, this year) to see:

  • check-ins, targets met and days that felt great
  • check-ins per week, by category and by habit
  • each habit's completion rate: check-ins against the days since it started

Calendar has heatmaps of every check-in, and one each for health, fitness, learning and faith. Print or share a Habit Report for any habit.

5. Mood journal

Your mood, sleep, one thing you're grateful for, and a selfie now and then, with your average mood and sleep for any period.

The mood journal

Private: your records are yours alone

Each person sees only their own habits, check-ins and journal, and so does the workspace owner who installed the app. Every notification goes only to the person whose habit it is.

An Accountability buddy (a friend or a coach, added as an app user) sees only the habits you share with their email, and their check-ins with notes and photos. Never where you checked in or your journal. A buddy can only look: they can't change anything or keep habits of their own here.

Roles: Me and Accountability buddy

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't connect to Apple Health, Google Fit or a smartwatch, so steps are typed in.
  • Reminders show in the app's bell, not as phone push notifications.
  • Deleting an older check-in (not your latest) doesn't recount the streaks after it.
  • Check-ins go in date order: log a forgotten day before today's tick.

Getting started

  1. Add two or three habits, not ten, with how much and why.
  2. Tap the circle on the home screen each time you do one. What's left stays at the top.
  3. Add a mood entry at night, and look at Stats every Sunday.
  4. For the reminders, put your workspace on Alvis Pro.
