Alvis Personal App for Tracking Your Accounts, Password Health and Card Renewals

About this app

Password Manager keeps your passwords, card PINs, Wi-Fi passwords and secure notes encrypted, and tells you which passwords to change first. Every list shows dots; a secret appears only when you tap Show or Copy, and the app clears the clipboard after 30 seconds while it stays open. It opens like an app on your phone.

Made for Philippine life: GCash and Maya, bank apps, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and BIR portals, passport renewals, loyalty and HMO cards.

Your vault at a glance

  • A home screen for your thumb: Vault, Favourites and Security tabs, category chips, search, and a tab bar for Logins, Cards, Wi-Fi and Notes
  • Three numbers: your logins, how many have strong passwords, and how many are due for a change
  • Favourites first in a swipeable row, and Quick add for a login, card, network or note in one tap

1. Logins and passwords

The site, username, the password, category, folder, recovery email and mobile, and security answers (encrypted too).

  • Generate a password: random characters or a four-word passphrase
  • Strength meter: the strength is rated from the password as you type it
  • Security score out of 100: strength, two-step verification (SMS, authenticator app or security key), age, and points off when you mark a password as reused
  • Health badge: Reused, Weak, Change due, No 2-step, Good, or Not rated without a strength
  • Change reminders: a password unchanged for a year turns "Change due". Saving a new password, or pressing I changed it on a login that's due, restarts the clock. Several due at once arrive as one summary

2. Security check

The Security tab shows what to fix, worst first: Weak, Reused and No 2-step counts, a "Weakest first" ranking, charts of strength and two-step, and the cards and IDs to renew.

3. Cards and IDs

Bank cards, government IDs, HMO and loyalty cards, with expiry and where to renew.

  • A bank card's PIN, CVV and full number, encrypted. Lists show only the last four digits
  • Valid, Renew soon or Expired: "Renew soon" 60 days before the expiry, "Expired" after it. Press Renewed, or just enter the new date
  • Scan a loyalty card: the member number fills in from the barcode, and a photo of the card is ready at the counter

4. Wi-Fi, secure notes and favourites

  • Wi-Fi: each network's password, provider, router page and account number. Use my location records where it is. WEP is refused
  • Secure notes: recovery codes, the alarm code, the safe's combination, encrypted

5. Reports

Security checkup, passwords to change, logins without two-step, logins by category, passwords changed, and cards by expiry. Export to CSV or PDF. Passwords and PINs never appear in reports, exports, charts or search.

Who sees what

  • Me: you see and change only what you added, and reminders go only to you. Everyone who uses the app has their own vault
  • Trusted Contact: a spouse or sibling for emergencies. They read only the entries you shared with their email and can show a shared login's or Wi-Fi password, never a PIN, CVV, card number, authenticator key or secure note. They can't change anything
  • Every Show and Copy is logged, and after 5 minutes they ask for your password or passkey again
  • The workspace's owner controls the app. Other people who use it can't see your entries, but secrets are encrypted with the server's key, and the owner can change the app's settings and export its records (secrets left out). Install it in a workspace you, or people you trust, manage

What it doesn't do

It doesn't autofill passwords in other apps or check for data breaches. There's no separate master password: anyone signed in to your account on your phone can open the vault, so keep your phone locked. After you switch apps, a copied password may stay on the clipboard.

Getting started

  1. On your phone, choose "Add to Home Screen".
  2. Add your most-used logins with their passwords, and mark your favourites.
  3. Turn on two-step verification where it says "No 2-step".
  4. Add your cards and IDs, Wi-Fi networks and secure notes.
